Warsaw – Ruciane Nida - Mikolajki - Gizycko


Mazury Region is the great area for adventure lovers. We are inviting you to explore unspoiled beauty while biking through the countryside, sanctuaries and landscape parks. Relax and enjoy boat cruises over the Great Masurian Lakes and take a challenge of paddling down Krutynia river, one of the most scenic rafting routes. There are charming towns and villages and historic sites on our route.

Day 1, Warsaw – Pisz area
  • Arrival in Warsaw
  • Optional: participants arriving early can join us for Warsaw city tour
  • Afternoon: transfer to Pisz area for dinner and overnight

Day 2, Pisz area – Ruciane Nida
  • Morning: first bike ride through Piska Forest, enjoy the beauty of unspoiled nature (approx. 35 km)
  • Afternoon: board a boat for leisurely Nidzkie Lake cruise (approx. 1 hour)
  • Continue to Ruciane Nida for dinner and overnight

Day 3, Ruciane Nida area
  • Morning: short bike ride through Mazurski Landscape Park to explore fauna and flora of the area, watch out for beavers or deer crossing your path
  • Afternoon: continue our adventure paddling down the Krutynia river, no special skills needed
  • Next, we visit the cloister of the Old Believers in Wojnowo. The day ends with a bike ride back to your hotel (approx. 20 km)
  • Dinner and overnight at Ruciane Nida

Day 4, Ruciane Nida area – Mikolajki
  • Morning: join us for delightful 1-hour cruise over the Beldany Lake. Next, we get back on our bikes and cycle to Mikolajki, marina and charming town over the Great Masurian Lakes
  • Afternoon: take your time, stroll through the street and lanes; the day ends with a bike ride to your hotel for dinner and overnight in Mikolajki area (approx. 40 km of biking)
  • Dinner and overnight in Mikolajki

Day 5, Mikolajki – Gizycko
  • Morning: board 2,5-hour cruise at the Great Masurian Lake. Enjoy your time. The cruise ends in Rydzewo from where we cycle to Gizycko
  • Afternoon: bike at a leisurely pace to your hotel in Gizycko (approx. 36 km of biking)
  • Dinner and overnight at a hotel in Gizycko

Day 6, Great Mazurian Lakes
  • Morning: cruise on the Great Masurian Lakes to Wegorzewo (approx. 2,5 hours)
  • Afternoon: enjoyable 45 km ride from Wegorzewo back to Gizycko
  • Dinner and overnight in Gizycko

Day 7, Gizycko – Warsaw
  • Morning: transfer to Warsaw
  • Afternoon: departure for your next destination
  • Optional: extend your stay and enjoy museums, galleries, dinning, shopping and nightlife of Warsaw
