Warsaw - Bialowieza - Mazury - Gdansk


23 national parks, many sanctuaries and protected areas help to preserve beautiful landscape of Poland.  The highlights of the tour are Bialowieza National Park with the biggest European bison, Biebrza Marshes with an abundance of fauna and flora and amazing “walking” dunes.  Join us for the tour and discover remarkable scenery of Poland.

Day 1, Warsaw
  • Arrival in Warsaw and transfer to your hotel
  • Rest of the day at leisure
  • Overnight in Warsaw

Day 2, Warsaw and the area
  • Morning: half-day city tour of Warsaw featuring Old Town and Royal Route
  • Afternoon: transfer to Kampinoski National Park for a stroll in one of the biggest national parks in Poland.  Kampinoski Forest served as a refuge during World War II.  We may spot tombstones and crosses along the path.
  • Return to Warsaw, rest of the day at leisure
  • Overnight in Warsaw

Day 3, Warsaw - Bialowieza
  • Morning: transfer to Bialowieza
  • Afternoon: guided walk in Bialowieza National Park.  Bialowieza forest, the only in Europe, has a primeval character meaning identical with the one that covered the area ages ago.  Our tour includes a visit to the European Bison Show Reserve where the biggest European mammals live.  Bialowieza Forest is a UNESCO World Biosphere Reserves.
  • Overnight at the hotel in Bialowieza or nearby area.

Day 4, Bialowieza – Bialystok – Biebrza – Augustow area
  • Morning: departure for Augustow area; first stop is Bialystok.  City tour features Branicki Palace, Market Square area and both Cathedral and Orthodox Church.
  • Afternoon: drive to Biebrzanski National Park for a walk or raft.  A part of Biebrza marshes including Czerwone Bagno (Red Bog) is under strict protection because of its unique and diversified fauna.
  • Continue to Augustow area for dinner and overnight

Day 5, Augustow area – Mazury Region
  • Morning: transfer to Mazury Region known for the Great Mazurian Lakes; the highlight of the day is a boat cruise over one of many lakes
  • Afternoon: transfer to your hotel; rest of the day at leisure
  • Overnight in Mikolajki area

Day 6, Mazury Region
  • Morning: half-day excursion featuring Swieta Lipka Baroque Monastery and Wolf’s Lair–the remains of Hitler’s Headquarter; drive through picturesque landscape along country roads and enjoy a slower pace of life
  • Afternoon: rest of the day at leisure
  • Overnight in Mikolajki area

Day 7, Mazury Region – Malbork - Gdansk
  • Morning: departure for Malbork for a tour of the spectacular medieval castle, the biggest brick construction in Europe
  • Afternoon: transfer to Gdansk, rest of the day at leisure
  • Overnight in Gdansk

Day 8, Gdansk – Sopot - Gdynia
  • Full-day sightseeing tour of the three cities featuring Gdansk Old Town, Sopot pier and Gdynia port, just to name a few landmarks and interest points
  • Rest of the day at leisure
  • Overnight in Gdansk

Day 9, Gdansk – Kaszuby Region - Gdansk
  • Full-day excursion to Kaszuby area known for its unique culture and scenic landscape.  The highlights of the day are visit to Szymbark open-air museum and traditional pottery studio.  There will be photo stops during a picturesque drive through the landscape park.
  • Return to Gdansk and rest of the day at leisure
  • Overnight in Gdansk

Day 10, Gdansk
  • Transfer to Gdansk airport or railway station
