Warsaw - Gdansk

Warsaw and Gdansk are modern and cosmopolitan cities, offering heritage, culture and entertainment. They both went throughout historical ups and downs and suffered severe destruction, but they were rebuilt in the aftermath. It is in Gdansk where the Second World War broke out, Solidarity movement and fall of communism began. Warsaw was stage for two uprisings. Visit both to touch and study Modern European History. Gdansk, together with Sopot and Gdynia, are seaside resort that cater to holiday makers who wish to enjoy free-time and outdoor activities. Warsaw is a must-see for modern art, galleries and nightlife. Combine both for an exceptional time in Poland.

Day 1, Warsaw

Arrival in Warsaw and transfer to the hotel for checkin

Overnight in Warsaw

Day 2, Warsaw

Full-day sightseeing tour of Warsaw featuring the Old Town, the Royal Castle and the Royal Route; next the tour continues to Lazienki Place and Park Complex that includes the Royal Palace on the Isle, the former royal residence, Old Orangery and Open-air Theater. Lazienki Park is also known for the famous Chopin’s Monument where summer Chopin concerts take place on Saturdays and Sundays during summer.

Day 3, Warsaw - Gdansk

Morning: transfer to Gdansk, upon arrival check-in at your hotel
Afternoon: walking tour of Gdansk Old Town. The tour includes: Royal Route with Dluga and Dlugi Targ Streets, Gothic Town Hall, magnificent Artus Court, Neptune Fountain - symbol of Gdansk and the largest brick church in Europe St. Mary’s Basilica.
Rest of the day on your own, we recommend independent visit to Amber Museum or/and European Solidarity Center

Day 4, Gdansk – Malbork – Gdansk

Morning: transfer to Malbork (ca. 60 km, app. 1-hour drive) for a guided tour of the Malbork Castle - the largest Medieval castle in Europe, registered as World Heritage at the UNESCO List; there is an extensive collection of amber exhibits to admire.
Afternoon: On the way back you stop in the beautiful Zulawy Wislane region to see some lovely wooden houses built by Dutch settlers in the 17th century. The area is near the Vistula River, and 2 meters below sea level (depression area). It is the lowest place in Poland.

Day 5, Gdansk

Morning: discover more of Tri-City treasures; today tour takes you to Oliwa Cathedral, famous for its 18th century organ concerts, harbor in Gdynia where two popular ships Dar Pomorza and battleship Blyskawica. The last stop is Sopot with the longest pier in Europe
Transfer to the Gdansk railway station or Gdansk Rebiechowo airport for your next destination
