For years, Berlin has been a punch line for beer lovers with many excellent brew houses that are worth a visit during your stay.
The beer-loving capital of Czech Republic, scenic Prague is home to 18 breweries, several brewing schools and hundreds of taverns. Many of these date back to the Middle Ages. Known as Plzeň in Czech, in 1842 this bustling industrial town, located two hours west of Prague, gave birth to Pilsner beer. Today it is home to the original Pilsner Urquell brewery. There are currently around 70 breweries operating in Poland – the most well-known, widely produced and popular beers are Zywiec, Tyskie, Okocim and EB…

Day 1

Warsaw

Upon arrival in Warsaw Chopin Airport (capital city and heart of Poland), meeting with your guide/assistant and transfer to your hotel. Check-in at the hotel.
Walk in the Old Town including Royal Castle Square with King Sigismund Waza Column; entrance to The Royal Castle.
Welcome dinner at the Old Town’ local restaurant. Overnight at the hotel in Warsaw

 

Day 2

Warsaw

Breakfast at the hotel
Full day classic sightseeing tour of Warsaw, including the Royal Route: Nowy Świat and Aleje Ujazdowskie, with numerous churches (Holy Cross Church with Chopin’s heart), monuments, historic buildings and palaces; Tomb of the Unknown Soldier; stop in front of the Parliament; walk through the Łazienki Park with famous Palace on the Isle, Old Orangery, famous Chopin’s monument and Belvedere. Palace of Culture and Science, the highest building in Poland (built between 1952 and 1955), it was a “gift of the Soviet people to the Polish nation”, offered by Joseph Stalin himself. The big attraction is a large viewing terrace on the 30th floor of the Palace – the excellent panoramic view… Dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 3

Warsaw – Poznan

Breakfast at the hotel, check out

Morning transfer to Poznan (ca. 300 km/ 3,30 h), check in at the hotel. Afternoon city tour include the island of Ostrow Tumski with Cathedral St Peter and Paul’s. Charming Old Town of Poznan, where you will see the hallmark of the city, the “Poznanskie Koziolki”, the Old Town Square with its Renaissance Town Hall and Merchant houses and St. Stanislav’s Church.

Day 4

Poznan – Berlin  (DE)

Breakfast at the hotel, check out. Morning visit the Lech Brewery Centre, place where you find out how to make one of the most popular Polish beer.

Next, transfer to Berlin (ca. 275 km/ 3,30 h), check in at the hotel

Day 5

Berlin  (DE)

Breakfast at the hotel. City tour of Berlin with local guide, a three-hour sightseeing tour will give you a first impression of the city’s dimensions and its many different aspects. You will see the places like the legendary Kurfürstendamm, the new Berlin main station, the government buildings and the Reichstag building, the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz and the Television Tower and many more…

Lunch and then beer tour around Berlin. Taking part in the process of the typical German brewery tradition. The tour shows the brewery process of the beer like it was brewed and drunk in the Middle Ages in Berlin-Spandau. The copper brewing vats standing right in the dining room of the restaurant. Taste the beer and feel the spirit! Back to hotel.

Day 6

Berlin  (DE) – Prague  (CZ)

Breakfast at the hotel, check out. Morning transfer to Prague (ca. 350 km / 4,30 h), check in at the hotel and short break.
City tour of Prague with local guide. During the tour you will get to know the most famous, historical places in Prague. This city walk will take you from Prague Castle to the Lesser Town (Mala Strana), and from there across the Charles Bridge to the mazy streets of the Old Town. You will also take the opportunity to look over the Wenceslas Square and Na Příkopech (short break for shopping).

Day 7

Prague  (CZ)

Full day trip to Pilsner, visit the breweries where the legends of Pilsner Urquell were born. You will learn about the history and secrets behind making the legendary Pilsner Urquell lager. You can see the actual spot in the brewery where Pilsner Urquell beer has been brewed since 1842.

Back to Prague. Evening Prague dinner cruise. If you plan to have an unforgettable evening we invite you for cruise on one of the historic boats. The buffet dinner is served on the deck accompanied by live music.

Day 8

Prague  (CZ) – Tychy – Krakow  (PL)

Breakfast at the hotel, check out
Early morning departure to Tychy (ca. 450 km/ 5,30 h) where you will find Tyskie Brewery Museum. You will see here how the beer is produced and at the end you will taste it. Continue our driver to Krakow (ca. 80 km / 1 h), check in.

Day 9

Krakow – Wieliczka – Krakow   (PL)

Breakfast at the hotel
Half day city tour of magical Krakow include Royal Wawel Hill with Castle and Cathedral, Old Town with St Mary Church and Cloth Hall. Kanoniczna street – the oldest street in Krakow, Florianska Gate, Collegium Maius and many more.

Lunch at local restaurant

Transfer to Wieliczka and visit the Salt Mine Wieliczka, the world-class attraction included in the UNESCO Human Heritage List. It illustrates the historic stages of the development of mining techniques in Europe from the 13th to the 20th century. It encompasses 9 levels, 2040 chambers and 360 km of galleries that form a mysterious labyrinth.
