Day 1

Introduction to Warsaw Tour

  • Our tour starts with a panoramic view of the city from the observation deck of the Palace of Science and Culture. The building itself is a landmark and an example of post-war architecture. The Soviet Union gave it to Warsaw as a gift. It is a remnant of the past that still rises in discussions and arguments.
  • Next, we continue to Lazienki Park for a leisurely stroll, stopping by Chopin’s Monument and Palace on the Isle. This beautiful park is the most popular place for Sunday family gatherings and also an exceptional venue for Chopin’s concerts that take place on Saturdays and Sundays.
  • The tour continues along Royal Route to the Old Town. Ujazdowskie Avenue, Nowy Swiat and Krakowskie Przedmiescie Streets are lined up with historic buildings, monuments, churches, embassies and governmental seats that tell you the story of the city, the country and Europe.
  • Warsaw Old Town is a masterpiece of reconstruction. UNESCO Committee recognized, with the title of World Heritage Monument, the meticulous work, which makes it almost impossible to tell which part is original and which was rebuilt. We find here the Royal Castle with splendid interiors, St. John’s Cathedral, Market Square and Barbican just to name a few.
  • Beautiful lanes and streets lead you to hidden gems you can discover while exploring the area on your own. We also recommend to Museum of Warsaw, where the history of the city is presented.
