Program of the city tour:
A city at the Baltic Sea – one of the places undoubtedly worth visiting… Largely destroyed in the Second World War, splendidly rebuilt in the aftermath as one of Europe’s most beautiful port cities. Gdansk offers a wonderful combination of old architecture with historic monuments and buildings, a holiday resort, as well as the atmosphere of a modern city. This 1000 year-old city has something for all tastes and it is a perfect place both: for a short holiday break and for a longer stay.
Upon arrival in Gdansk Walesa Airport, meet with your driver and transfer to your hotel; Check-in. Meet your local guide for half day walking city tour through Gdansk, including: Royal Route (with Dluga Street and Long Market – Dlugi Targ), Gothic Town Hall houses, The Artus Court (one of the most magnificent building of this type in Europe), The Neptune Fountain (a symbol of Gdansk), St. Mary’s Church (the largest brick church in Europe which can seat 25,000 people)…
Overnight at the hotel in Gdansk.
Breakfast at the hotel
Meet with a local guide at the lobby of the hotel (up to 3 h) and have morning cruise on the route Gdansk – Westerplatte (place where II World War began) – Gdansk by beautiful galleon-styled ships “Black Pearl” or “Galleon Lion” (cruise will take around 90 min.) Aboard of the ships the guide will tell about the history and monuments of Gdansk, its Shipyard and Westerplatte (without stop-over at Westerplatte). Return to Gdansk.
Just walk and visit the Museum of World War II (opened on March 2017). The building has about 23,000 sq.m. of floor area, of which the space reserved for the permanent exhibition covers around 5,000 sq. m. This exhibition uses the most modern methods to present the Second World War (visit the permanent exhibition with audio-guide).
The Museum will become a unique and powerful icon, as well as a public attraction standing for the never-to-be-forgotten history of World War II… – Daniel Libeskind, architect, jury member.

Breakfast at the hotel. Meet with a local guide at the lobby of the hotel & driver. Continue the discovering of Tri-City (up to 3-4 h) and drive to Gdansk Oliwa where the Oliwa Cathedral is located (famous for its 18th century organ and concerts played there), then visit Sopot, the beautiful and famous Baltic seaside resort. Here you can admire one of the longest pier in Europe. The next stop will be Gdynia – the guiding port in Poland with two popular ships Dar Pomorza and battleship Blyskawica.
Back to Gdansk.
Transfer to Amber Museum and visit the exhibitions; Housed in Gdańsk’s mediaeval Fore-gate building, this multi-story exhibit delves extensively into the history of Baltic amber. The impressive collection of “inclusions” (when bugs or plants are caught inside the amber) is intriguing to look at, and the many amber creations, from inkwells to spoons to a stunning Fender Stratocaster guitar, shows the material’s diversity. Visit will take around 1,5 h. Back to your hotel on your own.
