Condition of roads

A variety of terrain: slightly hilly (on the Elblag Heights and in Masuria up to 150 meters), gentle slopes. Sandy field- and forest roads, sometimes cobblestone, but mostly asphalt roads.

Day 1

The medieval Gdańsk
bicycle free

Individual arrival to your hotel in Gdańsk. Your guide will meet you there at 2.30 p.m. After that, a guided tour of the Old Town (about 3 hours) and dinner in a restaurant is scheduled. Accommodation in a hotel in Gdańsk.


Day 2

The mightiest medieval castle of Europe
ca. 35 km by bike, ca. 1 hour by train, ca. 20 km by bus

After breakfast, we take the train to Malbork. There we tour Europe’s biggest medieval fortress – the capital of the Teutonic Order. In the afternoon our first bicycle trip to Elblag begins (beautiful landscape along the way). We reach Elblag after a short bus transfer. Dinner in a restaurant (delicious Polish cuisine). Accommodation in a hotel in Elblag.


Day 3

Vistula Lagoon and Frombork
ca. 45 km by bike

Today we cycle the whole day to Frombork – the town of Nicolaus Copernicus. On our way you will be able to take a first look on the Vistula Lagoon. In the evening a short organ concert in the cathedral awaits us. Dinner and accommodation in a hotel in Frombork.


Day 4

Nicolaus Copernicus town
50 km by bike, ca. 60 km by bus

In the morning we tour the cathedral in Frombork – an impressive and very beautiful example of the sacral architecture. This is where Nicolaus Copernicus had worked for thirty years and where he had made his revolutionary discovery. After the tour we cycle to Orneta. We reach our hotel by bus. Dinner and accommodation in a hotel in Bartoszyce.


Day 5

The rattling storks and organ concert in Masuria
ca. 55 km by bike, ca. 20 km by bus

After breakfast we start our cycling tour to Ketrzyn. On our way we will pass many picturesque villages where the silence is interrupted only by the stork rattling. In Swieta Lipka we visit the baroque church from the 17th century and enjoy a short organ concert in the church. After that, bus transfer to our hotel. Dinner and accommodation in a hotel in Ketrzyn


Day 6

On the way to Giżycko
ca. 55 km by bike

In the morning we have a short bus transfer to the famous „Wolf’s Lair“– Adolf Hitler’s headquarters during World War II – where a guided tour is scheduled. Then we cycle through Sztynort to Giżycko. Dinner and accommodation in a hotel in Giżycko.


Day 7

Summer residence of Masuria – Giżycko

Today you have a choice: you can join a beautiful bicycle trip (about 50 km) around the Masurian lakes or you can have the day for your leisure. Dinner and accommodation as on day six


Day 8

Mikolajki – Venice of the North
ca. 40-60 km by bike, ca. 2 hours by ship

Today we take a beautiful cruise on the Masurian lakes that are connected by numerous canals. The cruise will end in Szymonka and from there we cycle to Mikolajki, a picturesque port, called “the Masurian Venice” by its inhabitants. After having explored the town we continue cycling to our hotel through amazing Masurian Landscape Park. Accommodation and dinner in a guest house in Krutyn.


Day 9

A paddling tour on the Krutynia river
ca. 20 km by bike

Today we go paddling on the Krutynia river (about 2-3 hours). No additional skills are required to paddle on this 90 cm-deep river. In the afternoon, we will cycle through the nature reserve. In the evening, we enjoy a bonfire and have a barbecue (weather permitting). Accommodation and dinner as on day eight.


Day 10

End of the tour

Right after breakfast we go by bus to Warsaw where we have a guided tour of the Old Town. The tour ends at the Warsaw Central Station about 4 p.m. Individual departure.
